The PAAC West Side Ward 4 Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition brings together youth, parents, business and community leaders, law enforcement, government, and others interested in making the West Side Ward 4 a better place and improving the lives of our youth.
PAAC Women’s Recovery Home
The Partnership of African American Churches(PAAC) Women’s Recovery Home is a 10 bed Level 2 recovery residence that provides recovery support services to individuals in recovery from addictive and emotional disorders.
The home serves adult women, 18 years and above. The PAAC’s primary purpose is to support our residents in establishing and practicing a recovery-oriented lifestyle.
Treatment
The PAAC provides counseling services to individuals who have mental health challenges.
The PAAC counselor is located at the Behavioral Health Wellness Recovery Center and specializes in substance use addiction and mood disorders. The primary responsibility of the counselor is to listen as clients describe problems, help individuals develop coping skills, as well as create goals and treatment plans that promote a higher quality of life.
Recovery
The PAAC recovery wellness center provides support services through its staff of Recovery Coaches.
All of our Recovery Coaches have an understanding of and respect for each individual’s unique path to recovery. Through lived experiences, they also possess a working knowledge of the drug and alcohol treatment system and a demonstrated commitment to the recovery community.
